Dr McClure and team are so thoughtful and careful with my sweet pup pup. My dog is scared and will hide under the furniture and shiver but the team is so careful and calm with her while they check her over and make sure she’s healthy. They give great advice when there is a concern and with preventative care.

We’ve been going to Bexley Animal Hospital since I got my cat in March of 2026. I no longer recommend them. At our initial visit, I was told he had mild gingivitis and I raised concerns about him needing a cleaning. I was told it was mild, and we would revisit it next year. In May, I called again and was told that no cleaning was necessary without being seen. In July, my cat’s gums started bleeding and he stopped eating his dry food. I called and told them I felt that he needed a cleaning. I was told yet again that it was no cause for concern, but that I could bring him if it would make me feel better. I took him in, was told that he was in pain and would likely need extractions. When I asked when they could get me in, they told me that it was not urgent until he stopped eating his dry food or refused to eat. Any animal being in pain is urgent. That’s why we came in. I had to push to be scheduled for the soonest apportionment because they were reluctant to schedule me. The next day, we went to a new vet who was speechless when I told her they didn’t even offer pain medication or antibiotics. She also said she was suspicious as to why this wasn’t caught when I'd raised concerns three separate times. I trusted this vet to have our best interests at heart. Instead, they treated us like we didn’t matter. If someone wants to reach out to me and discuss this further, feel free to.
