Dogs Only Medical Center

A little over a year ago my wife and I took our beloved 12-year-old Maltipoo in to have some teeth extracted. Less than four hours after we picked him up, Otis was dead. Our lives were turned upside down in that moment and would never be the same. The most disturbing part was the reaction by Dr. Prescott. My wife called her in distress and shock, and she coldly said "I didn't anticipate that." She'll probably deny it, but those were her exact words. We don't have children and Otis was like our son. Her lack of empathy and compassion was stunning. And it continued as we searched for answers. As she does with all negative reviews about her performance and abrasive personality (pay close attention to those), Dr. Prescott will try to rationalize what happened. Otis had a heart condition and we knew there was a risk with the anesthesia. But he had been cleared by two different cardiologists for the procedure. Otis also had very bad periodontal disease, which she will undoubtedly mention. But if it was so bad, why not abort the procedure or turn it away altogether? The $4,000 cost probably had a lot to do with it, which she refused to refund even one penny of by the way. We are still traumatized from the ordeal and even driving by the clinic gives me anxiety. I wouldn't trust this woman to trim my dog's nails.

Dr. Prescott and her team were absolutely fantastic! They made us feel comfortable bringing our dog Honey in. Explained everything in good detail. And even on the exit strategy explained again in great detail. Very personable and gave us options to call anytime if we have problems. They were fantastic.

Dr. Prescott is just lovely! Gives off sweet Grandma vibes…I didn’t want my dogs snagged tooth pulled but she so lovingly convince me it was best for my Dog’s health and well-being. I’m still sad about losing her crooked smile…. However, her mouth was full of pus and infection. I’m really glad I drove from Cincinnati all the way there to find the special doctor. they were able to pack the tooth holes with cadaver dog tooth… that’s something I wouldn’t be able to get up my regular vet. Would highly recommend! Staff is more then helpful, I got live update videos of the whole procedure 🫶🏼

Brought my dog in to get her teeth cleaned . Due to medical issues decided not to proceed due to risk of anesthesia . Dr. Prescott was rude and belittling to my husband. I know how important dental health is but she made us feel like we do not care for our pet and made rude comments about her weight like we were bad parents. She had all my dogs records before we made the trip to her practice to proceed with her cleaning but in the end left the practice very upset for being spoke to in a rude manner and not with a game plan to help my dog.
