This is going to be a long one so buckle up. I unfortunately had to make the insanely difficult decision to put my dog to sleep. Through the first initial visit to the last, this group of vets and vet techs have just been incredible. They are so empathetic and I had no doubts that my dog was in good hands. To top it all off, they sent me a card with his paw prints and nose prints in it that I didn’t expect at all. Please take your pet/s here, they will be in excellent hands. 50/10 highly recommend ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

My parents have brought our collies in for years and absolutely loved it so when I got my first dog (German Shepard mix, rescue) I knew I would go here. My first appointment was great! The vet techs were great I could go back with him (and so have my parents with our collies) they were very patient and sweet with him and during the appointment he was anxious but stayed close to me and we got done quickly, he showed no aggression towards them just some anxiety. I brought him in again for his booster shots and I was shocked when they asked to bring him to the back without out me. I was hesitant because he has a hard time trusting people because he’s a rescue. I allowed it but warned them he doesn’t really like other people and they said they knew. About 5 minutes later they bring him out and told me to muzzle him, he let me but wasn’t so sure about it and didn’t understand it, at this point he’s clearly stressed. I wasn’t upset about the muzzle I understand and want to make sure our vet techs are safe. The vet tech then chose to pick him up, not once but twice after he jumped out of her arms the first time, clearly not wanting to be held, she then insinuated very rudely that he hadn’t been drugged when he had been just because he wouldn’t let her pick him up and was hesitant. I am truly upset and shocked that she attempted to pick him up knowing his history of not liking. She then cancelled his appointment after I said I’d be more than happy to come back with him (which is fine). Picking him up could’ve not only hurt him but could’ve hurt the vet techs as well. As a vet tech you should listen to the clients expressing concerns about not wanting to let there RESCUE dog to be separated from there owners who they trust and the dog who is telling you they don’t like what your doing to them. I’m not sure what happened in my dogs past but I know he’s not a trusting dog to random people due to it and the whole situation was not handled in an appropriate manner.

From our very first experience here, the Doctors and team have provided excellent care for our dogs. Dr. Olsen is an excellent veterinarian! Highly recommend!
