I have been taking my pup here since he was born, he’s 6 now, and they have always been so kind. Any concern I bring up (and I’ve had a lot as he’s my first dog) they take seriously. Will always bring Fynnie here. He absolutely loves the assistants too!!

I rarely post reviews but I strongly believe I need to spread some awareness about my experience at this vet and with Dr Marya Teders. Within the past few months we moved over to this vet because they were closer to our home. We brought our dog in for an oral surgery and to complete some Cushings disease testing which was positive. At first everything was fine, we completed the surgery, did some bloodwork and multiple different tests to determine that my dog did in fact have cushings. We started her on a medication for cushings which is far from cheap. Over $300 for 45 days. The first small thing that rubbed me the wrong way was the misinformation about medication and pricing. She had me on the phone and told me it was cheaper for me to pay for 45 days then it would be to get a months worth-so of course I hear the word cheaper and order 45 days supply. When we got off the phone I did the math and it was actually MORE expensive to do it that way. I called back to let them know and Dr Teders called me back. She made sure to let me know she was calling me off the clock (so I must be special LOL). I almost felt as though she tried to act “smarter” then me and said well let’s do the math then….and I was right. She did apologize but still the misinformation and the callback was a little rude in my opinion. Fast forward a month later she was due back for yet another $300 test to check on the cushings and her levels. She had also developed a skin infection we wanted them to look at but forgot to mention at drop off. I do want to point out at this vet they have you drop your dog off and pick them up whenever they call. You don’t even get to speak face to face with the vet. I came to pick her up and the office and my dog reaked of urine as if it hasn’t been cleaned all day. I paid for an EXAM $82 and her stem cell test which was close to $300. When I got home I noticed I had forgotten to ask about the skin infection on her back and wondered what the vet thought it was since of course I was charged for an exam. The ladies at the front said they didn’t see any notes and wanted me to drop the dog off again the next day. I told them I wouldn’t be paying for another exam because if they truly examined the dog during her visit they wouldn’t of missed that. Dr Teders again called me from her personal cell. She tried to half blame us that we didn’t mention the skin infection so she wasn’t focused on her skin but she did however have note of Pyoderma and she could write us a script but wanted me to send a photo to her so she could verify it was the same thing in her notes. She yet again apologized that they overlooked this and wrote her some scripts-antibiotic, anti fungal and a shampoo. In my opinion that’s a very neglectful thing to do. Who notices a skin infection but forgets to right a script. I know Dr Teders never examined my dog that day. They charged me and never even checked her. All of this was VERY upsetting to me. I had spent about $3,000 in the last month with them and have felt my dogs health has been neglected. Dr Teders is money hungry. I did some research to find a cheaper route to fill my dogs medication. I am by no means rich and spending all this has been hard. I called and asked the office if they can give me a script to fill through chewy and not only did they refuse, they were VERY rude about it. They straight up told me they will not fill with anybody else and I should go elsewhere. I had asked them to please have Dr Teders call me and I would like to ask her myself. Here I sit almost a week later with not a single call. I will not pay twice as much for a medication to line her greedy pockets. I have since taken her elsewhere and I had such a great experience. They were in awe that Dr Teders would put my dog on an antifungal which is very hard on a dogs liver-especially one with cushings when she didn’t even know if the dogs infection was fungal. He could tell by one look it wasn’t a fungal infection which just confirms to me she never did an exam on my dog that day. Stay far far away

Huge shoutout to Dr. Dickman and the team at North Arlington Animal Clinic! I recently brought my cat in for a stubborn case of feline acne, and the care we received was top-notch. Dr. Dickman was knowledgeable and practical, providing an easy-to-follow treatment plan. The entire staff was incredibly gentle with my cat, making what could have been a stressful visit totally seamless. If you’re looking for a skilled, compassionate vet in the area, this is the place to go!

Northarlington Animal Clinic has been the absolute best with our two boys Phoenix (dragon) and Denji (dog). We've brought Denji here since he was a puppy and everyone has been so attentive and truly cares for his well being. Not to mention he gets so spoiled with treats and affection! I've dropped him off in the morning and picked him up in the afternoon a couple of times as well and have never worried about his well being. They've gotten Phoenix in a couple of times when I was concerned he wasn't doing well. I'm pleased that our vet knows exotics as well because not every clinic does. They have always taken such great care of our boys :) I highly recommend this clinic! Edited 1/27/26: I unfortunately had to euthanize my dragon Phoenix and Dr.Teders and her staff were so compassionate and understanding. Thank you everyone for your kindness
